Jim
Anderson was born in New York city, Lived in New
York, Connecticut, Maryland , Virginia & Washington
DC. Later moved to Oregon, Washington & wound
up in California. He served in the Navy as a Sonarman
aboard two Minesweepers, The USS Warbler MSC 206,
and the USS Force MSO 445. Both ships were destroyed
by fire years after Jim's discharge. Jim has worked
as a commercial fisherman out of Newport Beach,
CA ,a pipefitter, Tobacco Salesman ,Insurance
salesman, Wholesale office supply sales, Loose-leaf
binder specialist & package designer, In 1978
he started his own business as a custom binder,
print and promotional products broker. Served
on the Board of trustees/ Board of directors of
the National Council on Alcoholism with the late
Senator Milton Marks, Served on the Vestry of
the Episcopal Church of St. Mary the Virgin as
Parish Warden. currently serving as Sexton, Chalice
bearer and Eucharistic Minister. . Jim was married
for 30 years (to the same lady) and raised 4 children
and 2 of his 4 Grandsons. Currently single, he
lives in the Hayes valley with his two black (for
luck) cats. He has been the emergency phone person
for CitiScape after normal business hours, since
