Kevin
grew up in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of
San Francisco, and when not in juvenile hall attended
St. Agnes, Herbert Hoover Jr. High and Lincoln
High in The City. He joined the Navy in 1971 and
was stationed in the submarine service on the
East Coast. When Kevin felt that coast was clear,
he returned to the left coast and after discharge
from the military, enrolled at City College of
San Francisco for only one semester, failing in
trampoline and fencing. Realizing a college education
was probably not in his cards, he began managing
properties in the late 1970s. He took a break
from the working world in the early 1990’s to
sail boats and yachts to and from the Hawaiian
Islands and the South Pacific, including a six-month
journey on a three-masted schooner from San Diego
to Japan. He then returned to reality.
Kevin has been happily married to Kim since
2001, and they live in Mill Valley with their
brood of 2 dogs and a gaggle of cats. He has
a very beautiful and talented daughter who is
a professional photographer in San Francisco
(www.allysonwiley.com). Kevin and Kim enjoy
weekend getaways to local pet-friendly spots,
venture to Ashland, OR, to visit family several
times a year, and they have a boat that mostly
sleeps in the Treasure Isle Marina, usually
only venturing out for special occasions.
Along with Ed Dale, Kevin
co-founded CitiScape in 1999, and is most proud
of the ability to attract and retain the individuals
and talented personalities that has helped shape
the CitiScape crew into the strongest and most
grounded staff of any company he has ever been
privy to. He likes going to work every day,
and loves the people he has the privilege of
working with!
